The Office
Olá todos!! Hope you all had a great week. This last Friday was transfers, and with 4 whole transfers, or 6 months in Lapa, it was almost a 100% guarantee that I would be leaving. And if you couldn't guess from the spoiler in the title, I have been transfered to the mission office doing social media/technology! It's awesome because we basically make all the videos and content for the whole mission, and I love this stuff so it will be a great time here. We also get to travel all around Portugal, so I will have a chance to see the whole country. Anyways, my last week in Lapa was awesome. We had one last district council, which was awesome. I made garlic knots for the district, and then we also went and ate burritos. Burritos are always one of the best parts of the week. We also had a few last meals with members, which were all awesome. Four Languages
Olá gente! This last week was a good one. We were able to put two of our friends on date for baptism! They're awesome, and we love teaching them. Last week, we found a new friend from the Congo. At first, she just wanted to do a Bible study with us in Portuguese, because she wants to learn portuguese. Then after a bit, she started asking questions about missionaries, the church, and other things. She spoke English with us, but she's a native French speaker. So her Bible was French, which she read with us, but she somehow had a Spanish Book of Mormon. So we spoke English, read Spanish and French scriptures, and spoke some Portuguese. It was a very fun and interesting lesson. On Saturday, we were able to have a branch Christmas dinner. It turned out great, and we all had a great time.
