Baptism!!
Olá everyone!
I don't have much time to write, but I'll try and get what I can down. Not a whole ton of stuff happened, and it was kind of a blur. We absolutely went crazy this week and found 14 people. I think that's a new Chaves record. So that was super cool. I am looking forward to the rest of this transfer.
We had a baptism on Saturday! It was technically a branch baptism since his dad is a member, and he's 8, but we still were super excited because we taught him all the stuff. So that was super cool to see him make that choice and get baptized.
We also got to have lunch with the branch president on Sunday, and it was so good. We had a bunch of Brazilian stroganoff, which is little chunks of chicken, and you mix ketchup, mustard, and cream as a sauce for it. Sounds weird, but it's the best thing in the world. He also brought us up to the top of a mountain, which was fun. It was cool to see all the trees and the rock fields that went on for miles.
Today for pday, we did the usual walk around Vila Real and then went to the mall. It's almost the same thing every week, but for some reason, it never gets old. I found a pack of Coke for like 3€ and it had a box attached to it, so I bought it. Turns out I won a bucket hat for some promotion thing, so that was awesome. I felt like I found the golden ticket. We also went to Decathlon, which is like a sporting goods store, but lots of the stuff is cheaper. There was a pool table out on display, and the workers let us play a few games on it, which was awesome.
Hope you all have a great week!

- Baptism of Yan. It was super sunny, haha
- Lots of old Portuguese guys fall asleep on the chairs in the mall. One of the Elders wanted a picture with him.
