The Olympics
Olá a gente!
Hope you all are doing well. Everything is going great here in Portugal. We finished up all the zone conferences last week which was fun. Got to see even more friends again. We went down south to Setúbal for the first zone conference, and then we finished with our own conference here in Lisbon, which was really good. We learned a lot about how we can stay more connected to the Holy Ghost. Lost of good stuff.
We also got to go out one morning and do some whiteboard finding, where we have a question on a board that anyone can come and answer. We also strike up as many conversations as we can. It didn't work out super well, but it was still really fun, and there were some great conversations.
We are also working on getting Facebook lives up and running for our mission page. So we went to my old area, Lapa, to go and get and test a few audio things. So that was awesome to go back and see . Afterward, we went and got some Pastéis de Nata. We had to park in a parking garage, and then we got stuck in there for a while cause we had no cash on us. So that was awesome.
Today we had zone pday, and we all got together and did a big "Olympics" competition between us all. We were split into 4 different countries, the USA, Canada, Brasil, and Portugal. I was put on the Canadian team, and it was super fun. We won all the brackets for everything. We had a really good soccer game with Brasil, where we came back from a 0-2 game point and won. It was a really fun game. It was a good few hours as an honorary Canadian.
Boa semana para vocês! Até logo.
Elder Howard
