Perfect Timing
Olá a todos!
Hope you all are doing great. Everything here in the office is going great. This last week was pretty fun. I'm still learning a lot of things like how to run ads for the mission on Facebook and stuff, but we did get to film a lot of stuff. We had an MLC meeting, or mission leadership conference, that we were able to go to and take pictures for. It was cool cause we got a ton of food. That's always the best part. I also finished editing my first video since being here for all the new missionaries that just arrived in Portugal. It isn't perfect but it turned out pretty well. It has been super fun kinda relearning all the stuff I learned in the video tech course I took in high school.
We had p-day on Saturday, and we didn't do a ton of stuff in the morning other than cleaning, but later, we decided to go to the mall to mess around since it is practically next-door to us. After spending a bit of time there, we decided to go check out the bowling alley. It turns out President Barcellos and his family were there too, and so they had us join them in a round of bowling which was absolutely amazing. Their youngest son, David, destroyed everyone which was funny.
We also got to go out and eat lunch with the new office senior couple. They brought us to this really nice sushi place. It was probably the best thing I have eaten here on the mission. There were 2 appetizer dishes, and then they brought out probably the biggest tray of sushi I have ever seen or probably will ever see in my life. It was nuts. I had a few of everything on there, even the ones that had seaweed. For those of you who know, you know eating that stuff is a pretty big step for me. And the funny part is, is that I loved all of it.
Até próxima!
