We Finally Went

Olá everyone!

Hope you all are doing well. The past week and a half were pretty good. We were able to set a date for baptism for 4 of our friends, which is awesome. They are all the best. I'm particularly excited for Ana and Morgan, whom I'm sure I've mentioned before. We have been working with them for about 3 transfers now, and they absorb all the information like sponges. It's cool to see the desire to learn and progress inside them burn like a wildfire. We've already taught through each lesson twice, and we also share a ton of spiritual messages with them. They are both so close to quitting cigarettes, so they should be getting baptized here in a couple weeks. Also, Morgan's 29th birthday was last week, and they had us over for a big lunch. They're awesome.

Otherwise, the work is going just fine. NIt's nottoo much exciting, especially since it's tourist season here. It's cool to see people from everywhere, especially the occasional LDS family that runs into us, but it makes finding actual people that live here super hard. We actually just had some visitors at church on Sunday, so I was asked to speak in both Portuguese and English. It was not as bad as I thought.

Last Monday, we finally go to got paintballing!! It's definitely the best pdayI've had yet. No one got hurt, which was good, and we all had a great time. My team won 2/3 of the games, which was sweet. I got shot once on the wrist which welted a bit, but surprisingly it didn't hurt at all. So that was a pretty good day. Today for pday, we had it at a big park as a zone. There was basically just a TON of ultimate frisbee the whole time which was super fun.

Scripture of the week: Mosiah 18:9
Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life
