The Great Pilgrimage

Olá everyone! Tudo jóia?

This past week was absolutely awesome. Our friend, Morgan, was finally baptized this week!!! It was incredible. I was honored to be the one who baptized him, and it was so insanely awesome to see his excitement the whole time. He has been wanting to be baptized for almost 3 transfers now. He just had to get over smoking, which he did! He has already been an amazing member on the inside from the start. Right after the baptism, Morgan disappeared for a bit, and we found him mopping up and cleaning the whole entire baptismal font without anyone ever telling him to. He's just the coolest guy ever.

Not a ton of stuff happened the rest of the week. We prepared for Morgan's baptism and stuff, but otherwise, it was pretty vanilla I terms of missionary work. But this next week will be an important one here in Portugal. The Pope is coming to town, so the entire city has been preparing for that. And we are being flooded by pilgrims from all over the world. It is super crowded almost everywhere, but it's really cool to see people from everywhere. We'll have the opportunity on Saturday to help give a temple grounds tour to all the pilgrims who want to come and see it. So we'll see how that goes.

Sorry for the shorter email this week, I don't have much time to write. I promise next week's will be longer!

Tchau!!
