Welcome To Jurassic Park
Hey everyone!
Sorry for not writing for a couple of weeks. We had a temple pday week, and I had no time to write one last week.
The past couple of weeks have been great, though! Our friend, Pedro, was baptized! It was really cool. We did it after church and then had a huge branch lunch together. So there was lots of food, and we all had a ton of fun. One of my MTC teachers came to Portugal too, and will be staying for a couple of months, so he was able to come to sacrament. It was good seeing him!
Last pday, we were able to go to the temple. And as always, it was awesome. I love it every time. Afterward, we went to this huge interactive children's science museum. It's probably the coolest place I have been to in a while. There are lots of fun things to do and see. I even got to ride a bicycle on a rope, which was insane, and lay on a bed of nails. They also had lots of dinosaurs, which was kinda cool, and a big STEM lab to make and build stuff. Super cool place.
Saturday was a pretty strange day. We somehow ran into about 4 members visiting from the States, which was really cool. Then we ran into a guy from Park City who wasn't a member, and he was so surprised that there were missionaries here. It was a pretty interesting but funny conversation, haha. There were a few other weird interactions throughout the day. Sunday was a good one. We had lunch with John again. So that was really fun, he's awesome.
Today, we decided to spend pday at the big Colombo mall again. We went bowling this time, which was super fun. It wasn't my best round of bowling, but it's always fun being able to go. We also stopped by the American store too. Elder Madrid hasn't been yet, so it was awesome to see his reaction to seeing all the stuff from the States.
Scripture of the week: Alma 26:16
Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I can not say the smallest part which I feel.
Até próxima!
