Bacalhau

Olá todos!

Sorry it's been a while. We had a temple trip today, so our pday was moved. But I definitely had an awesome week and a half. We had transfers on the 21st and I ended up getting transfered to Lisbon! My area covers all of downtown Lisbon, so we have lots of cool places to eat at and see. For those who can, there's a show on Netflix called "Somebody Eat Phil" where a guy eats food from around the world. In one episode he goes all around Lisbon, and every place he goes to is in my area. So if you're curious to see what it's like where I'm serving, that's a fun way to see.

It's been super fun serving here too. The members in our branch are really cool, and super nice. Our church building is really cool. It's the oldest chapel in Portugal, where the church was established here. It's a big old mansion, and they still have all the old tiles and fireplaces and stuff. Super cool.

We were able to teach a few awesome lessons, and find some cool people out on the streets. Lots and lots of tourists, but it's really cool to be able to talk to people from all around the world

For pday today, we were able to go to the temple, which was super cool. This time, I was able to try some other things in the temple, and it was awesome to be able to those in Portuguese. Afterwards, we went into Lisbon to get lunch with the rest of the district. Then we went to a bacalhau museum, which was actually a lot coolest than it sounds. Portugal is really big about their cod fish, and so we were able to learn all about the history, and just about every thing you could learn about fish. It was really fun actually.

Scripture of the week: 2 Nephi 26:24
He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may draw all men unto him. Wherefore, he commandeth none that they shall not partake of his salvation.

Bom descanso!
